Scurt istoric

From 2009 to the present time the dean of Faculty of Dentistry has been Professor Ion Lupan. During this period, the work of faculty is focused on the strategy, which provides the development of dental care in the Republic of Moldova for 2008-2017.

On February 1, 2001 Professor Pavel Godoroja was appointed as the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry by order 119.

From 1982 to 1986 G. Nicolau was the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.Professor Sofia Sirbu was the Dean of Faculty from 02/07/86 to 01/03/93.

From 1 of April 1971 to 1982 and from 1993 to 2001 Ilarion Postolaki was appointed as the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry. He made great efforts for the development of dentistry in the Republic of Moldova.

According to the entrance examinations results in August 1959, 50 students were admitted : 27 men and 23 women. From this moment the work of the faculty begins, and successfully continues up to now.

According to order no. 131, September 8 1959 the G. Moskonko was appointed as the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry.

On august 31 1966 Arseny Gutan (Order number 326 of 23.8.66, § 1) was appointed as the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry. He had been on this position for almost 5 years.
